I'm glad we don't have TV yet. (We are planning to get TV soon so that I can watch college football.) But even without TV, the radio hype is great. Maybe tomorrow I will be more humble, but I think you just need food, water, candles, and flashlights.
In preparation for the big hurricane, we tried to go for a walk. We knew the impending rain would discourage outside activities. We ignored the sign, but the police were circulating telling all that the park was closed.
